Jack Harmon (Trombone)
Jack was a lifelong resident of Atlanta until he and his wife Helen recently move to Sky Lake in Sautee, Georgia During the latter part of the Korean War Jack played trombone with the 293 rd Army Headquarters Command Band in Tokyo, Japan. After the war Jack decided to attend Georgia State to study music,  particularly big band and jazz and was selected in 1986 to tour Europe with the famed Georgia State Jazz Band. He continued his trombone playing at the First Baptist Orchestra in Atlanta and the Johnson Ferry Baptist Orchestra in Cobb County. He kept up with his love for big band music playing with the 19 piece Victory Jazz Orchestra of Atlanta. He played with the Yonah Brass until his welcome association with Capitol City Xpress.
