Dave earned his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Georgia and his Master of Music in Piano Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester. While on the music faculty of Brenau University, he pursued his Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance at Florida State University. His performing encompasses a broad range of piano styles, from classical solo literature, concerti, chamber music and accompanying to jazz trio, big band, pop and Motown to church music. His jazz group, the Jazzlites, has performed in the Atlanta area for over 25 years and he remains active as an accompanist for church ensembles and his family - wife Laura (soprano), son Philip (violin), and daughter Joanna (soprano).
